Flying to SFO

I bought plane tickets today.

I’m leaving Amsterdam on a direct flight to SFO on Friday, October 5, 2007. KLM flight 0605, arrives 13:05.

I’m going to be checking in several large bags and a bicycle so I need someone with a very large vehicle to pick me up at the airport.  Any takers?

I took the extended test. Based on just the first set of answers, my number 1 job was “Heating, Air Conditioning, Refrigeration Tech”. I very much dislike working weekends so I think Video Game Developer is right out, thankyouverymuch.

(Millwrights, by the way “install, maintain, and repair all of the machines that factories rely on to produce their goods. ” Who knew?)

I never could get the hang of Mondays…

What kind of country has bakeries that don’t open until 11am?!

I like the interwebs.

I blogged a little while ago about a bike trip ‘les, Nick, and I took to Friesland.

I posted some photos on flickr of the Eco Cathedral, which I took on that bike trip, which got the attention of the photographer who maintains the website for the project. He liked my photos and now Three of them are up on the page, including one very nice photo of Xena. My photos are in the middle of the top row.

Woot.

Tasty!

Two pounds of dried apricots just arrived at our door, curtsey of Sarah Doty.

Oh. My. God.  They are so tasty.  Tart and sweet and mmmmm.

I love you, Sarah.
